Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez want out.
The couple, who have been at the center of divorce speculation for weeks, are reportedly trying to sell their Beverly Hills, Calif. mansion as soon as possible.
“They thought they could sell it off-market but made a game-time decision in order to put more eyes on the property,” a person close to the couple told Us Weekly for a report published Saturday.
“They are in a rush to sell it. Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there.”
The insider also said they decided to list the house publicly “within the last week.”
Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were first reported to be selling their house off the market in June and Page Six revealed July 1 that they were also attempting to offload some of their art pieces.
The Us Weekly source claimed the pair “never felt settled” in the 38,000-square-foot abode. “They rarely have all the kids there at once, so it felt huge for the two of them,” they added.
A source previously told People the “Way Back” star thought their residence was “too far” from his kids, while the “On the Floor” singer felt it was “too big.”
Affleck and Lopez share five children in total. The Grammy nominee has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Meanwhile, the Oscar winner has daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, and son Samuel, 12, with his ex, Jennifer Garner.
The “Gigli” co-stars first purchased the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home in June 2023 for $60.85 million after searching for their dream house for quite some time.
The big move came just under a year after the pair eloped in Las Vegas 20 years after they were originally engaged.
While Lopez gushed at the time that she believed love was “beautiful” and “patient,” she is reportedly now over her marriage to Affleck.
“Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it’s not getting any better, it’s worse,” an alleged music industry insider claimed to the Daily Mail in June.
Furthermore, a person close to Affleck’s camp told Page Six in May that he would “divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if he could.
Our source added, “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
