This might get awkward.
“The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri is hosting “Saturday Night Live” this Saturday with Jennifer Lopez as the musical guest four years after the former said the latter doesn’t know how to sing.
During a 2020 appearance on the “Scam Goddess” podcast, the actress, now 28, claimed the Grammy nominee’s career was “one long scam.”
“She thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her,” Edebiri claimed, seemingly referring to a rumor that Lopez uses ghost singers to record her music.
“I think she thinks that she’s still good even though she’s not singing for most of these songs.”
Edebiri, who won her first Emmy last month, went on to admit she became “fascinated” with the “On the Floor” hitmaker’s career and “read up on” theories that she did not sing all of her tracks.
“A lot of the write-ups of the songs will be like, ‘J. Lo didn’t have time to make it to the studio,’ like, ‘J. Lo was busy,’” she claimed.
“It’s like, ‘Doing what?’ Not singing, obviously!!”

Neither Edebiri nor Lopez have publicly addressed the diss and they appeared to be on friendly terms with each other in the promo clips for this week’s upcoming episode.
In fact, the pair even complimented each other in one of the short clips.
“I’m really excited, I love your show,” Lopez told the comedian, to which she replied, “I love your everything.”
Reps for both stars did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the matter, but a source close to the situation claimed to TMZ Friday that the actress is a fan of Lopez, 54, and is excited she gets to work with her.
The insider also said the “Marry Me” star is unbothered by the comments and usually doesn’t dwell on criticism.
The Feb. 3 episode of “SNL” will mark Edebiri’s first time hosting.
Meanwhile, Lopez has appeared on the show several times, with her debut as a musical guest occurring in 2000.
She then served as a host and musical guest in 2001 and 2010 episodes.
Finally, she performed on the show again in 2019.
