Ben Affleck closed escrow on his lavish $20.5 million Los Angeles mansion the same day his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday.
The Oscar winner, 51, snapped up the plush pad in the ritzy Pacific Palisades neighborhood as his and Lopez’s marital home still sits on the market.
The day he closed escrow on the property, the “On The Floor” hitmaker finalized the sale of her NYC condo, People reports.
Both real estate transactions took place on July 24 — the singer’s birthday.
Affleck’s new bachelor pad allegedly boasts 5 bedrooms with walk-in closets and 6 bathrooms. Inside the main house are reportedly breakfast and dining spaces, a family room, a den and a media room with a dedicated powder room.
There is also reportedly a separate guest house on the property.
Page Six has reached out to Lopez and Affleck’s reps for comment.
This comes as the pair — who tied the knot in July 2022 — have been spending their summer on separate coasts.
The “Argo” star was nowhere to be seen at Lopez’s glitzy birthday celebrations in the Hamptons.
Lopez has spent much of her summer galavanting in Bridgehampton, and last week marked her special day with a festive lunch at the Italian restaurant, Arthur & Sons.
Not only did Affleck remain in Los Angeles, Calif., during his wife’s milestone birthday, he also didn’t join her in the Hamptons on their 2-year wedding anniversary on July 16.
Naturally, his absence didn’t quiet the rumor mill as the status of their marriage continues to remain up in the air.
A day before the lunch, Lopez commemorated her birthday with a “Bridgerton”-themed soirée in the Hamptons where guests dressed up in ballgowns and tiaras.
Attendees were greeted at the entrance by a horse-drawn carriage before heading inside for the lavish fête.
Meanwhile, Affleck was spotted across the country in LA for business meetings. He was later photographed running errands as his wife celebrated her forthcoming birthday.
Affleck’s new pad purchase comes in tandem with his and Lopez’s attempt at offloading their 38,000-square-foot home, which they have been doing since June.
While they originally tried to sell the house off-market, they took their listing public earlier this month.
The “Gigli” co-stars first purchased their home in June 2023 — almost a year after they eloped in Las Vegas — for just over $60 million.
They have listed the massive 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home for $68 million and are reportedly “in a rush to sell it.”
