Inside Ben Affleck’s new $20M LA mansion that he purchased on Jennifer Lopez’s birthday amid split rumors
While Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday in July, her husband Ben Affleck was busy buying himself a gift in the form of a $20 million mansion.
He reportedly bought a stunning Pacific Palisades, Calif. home for $20.5 million as his marital residence with Lopez sits on the market for $68 million — an $8 million increase from the price they snagged it for in June 2023.
The 51-year-old actor’s new bachelor pad, seen in photos obtained by Page Six, is much simpler than his and Lopez’s house with a reported 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Affleck’s new bachelor pad, seen above, also has six bathrooms.
It features a dining space (pictured above) and a separate breakfast area.
The airy abode also has a designated den and living area, one of which is pictured above.
Comparatively, his and the “On the Floor” singer’s home is 38,000 square feet and boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.
Notable features in Affleck’s new abode are separate breakfast and dining spaces, a family room, a den, a media room and a powder room. The inside is spacious and airy with vaulted ceilings and wood beams that give it charm.
The kitchen features a chef’s stove and a massive stone island that seats five people.
The “Deep Waters” star’s pricey place has a mixture of high and vaulted ceilings.

A source told People earlier this week that Affleck’s new place offers a “sense of privacy and seclusion” and is “family-friendly” but has the potential to be transformed into the ultimate bachelor pad.
The pricey pad is very private, as seen by the above hedges surrounding its perimeter and wooden privacy gate.
Affleck’s home is well-manicured and features various shrubs and greenery throughout, as seen above.
The spacious property also houses several horse stables.
His decision to pick up a house ideal for entertaining family is no surprise, as an insider previously told the outlet that Affleck “never liked” his and Lopez’s house because it was “too far away from his kids.”
Affleck shares three kids with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
It’s not clear when he plans to move into his new place. Earlier this summer, the Oscar winner was thought to be staying in a Brentwood, Calif. rental home, where both Lopez and Garner were seen visiting him.

He reportedly did not enjoy his house with Lopez because it was far from his children.
He and Lopez originally listed their shared house off-market in June but took their listing public in July as they became more eager to sell.
In fact, an insider told Us Weekly in mid-July that the pair are “in a rush” to offload the spacious estate.
“Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there,” the source noted.
Affleck, whose new home is pictured above, is reportedly done with his marriage to Lopez.
A person close to the actor told Page Six in May he would “divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if he could.
Affleck was reported to have moved out of his and Lopez’s shared home in late June.
He was thought to be staying in a Brentwood, Calif. rental after his move.
Both Jennifer Garner and Lopez were seen visiting Affleck at the rental.
It remains unclear when Affleck plans to move into his new house, the outside of which can be seen above.
The Oscar-winning actor has been spending most of his time in Los Angeles while Lopez is enjoying the summer in New York.

A person close to the stars told Page Six last month their marriage has been “over for months.”
Furthermore, another insider told us in May that the “Good Will Hunting” star is ready to move on and would “divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if it were an option.

After reconciling in early 2021, they confirmed their engagement in April 2022.
They eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022 and then held a formal ceremony for family and friends the following month at Affleck’s estate in Georgia.
